Om Padhi

My name is Om Satyavan Padhi. I am a 2nd Dan Black Belt Karate Coach and Self-Defence Trainer with 13 years of experience in martial arts and over 6 years of coaching experience.

I am associated with Sports India Karate Academy and have trained students across different age groups in karate, fitness, discipline, and practical self-defence.

I have conducted self-defence training programs in more than 13 BMC schools, where I trained boys, girls, and school staff. I have also conducted women self-defence workshops for corporate and community groups.

In terms of achievements, I am a:

Silver Medalist – SQAY National Championships 2023

Silver Medalist – DSO SQAY State Championship

Gold Medalist – Khaliyo-Do Modern Martial Arts National Championship

Apart from sports, I also have a B.Tech in Electronics and Computer Science Engineering.

I am also an NCC Naval Wing C Certificate holder with A Grade from 1 Maharashtra Naval Unit NCC. I represented Maharashtra in firing and was a Gold Medalist at the All India Nau Sainik Camp 2024.

My focus as a coach is not only on martial arts skills but also on discipline, confidence building, and safety awareness, especially through self-defence training for students and women.
