IdentityCompleting my MSW from Tata Institute of Social Sciences in 2004, I have over 10 years’ work experience in the NGO sector. From 2006 - 2011, I worked as the sole fundraiser/Donors Co-ordinator for a1 crore sized NGO in Mumbai, impacting more than 4000 persons like children in red light areas, slums, prisons, observation homes and rehabilitation homes. Other projects of the NGO included work among visually challenged women, women in prostitution and prisoners.
My work involved end-to-end tasks starting from data collection to monthly, quarterly, half-yearly and annual reports-writing, generation of promotional literature and proposal writing for local and international donors - High Net Worth individuals, foundations, funding intermediaries and corporates. I have also worked with a USA-based donor organisation, and several prominent players n the NGO sector.
I have four years’ of memorable volunteering experience, teaching underprivileged children from my neighborhood, slums, remand homes, and street children.
I seek to train:
1) Aspirants in the areas of social work admissions/examination preparation
2) NGO employees/aspirants/freshers in the area of fundraising-proposal and report writing, developing promotional materials and how to engage with donors from different backgrounds.
The trainings will be intensive one-on-one sessions and the learnings and the pay off from applying the learnings will be far more than the money you shell out!
