"Nilesh is a very good instructor. He took the time to explain the basics of Excel and gave us quiz's to make sure we understood the lessons. He was very patient in his explanation and repeated anything that we did not understand. He was very punctual for the class and spent enough time in each class without feeling rushed. I would highly recommend him to anyone wanting to learn Excel "

Hi Ashwini,
There are two ways to use formulas in Excel.
1. In any cell, put an = sign and start typing initial letters of the operation you want to perform for e.g. =count(range)
2. Use the RIbbions menu and click on Formulas tab. After that use the Insert Function and search for the forumula you want to apply.
Let me know if you need additional clarification and I will be happy to teach.
