To pursue a Mechanical Draftsman career you have to do ITI COURSE in Mechanical drafting. If u are doing your Engineering Diploma -Mechanical then I suggest you complete it, find a job in design dept., learn drawing preparation in the department and side by side during weekends you can hone your drafting... ...more

If u are doing your Engineering Diploma -Mechanical then I suggest you complete it, find a job in design dept., learn drawing preparation in the department and side by side during weekends you can hone your drafting skills by joining some part time courses in drafting. There is not much scope in the organization if you are only a draftsman. I suggest you complete your Diploma, join a job in design section and after gaining couple of years experience, start looking forward to do your AMIE - Mechanical

How many teachers here employ caning as a punishment method? I have read both pros and cons. What's your take? Is it needed at times or completely unnecessary?

It is not at all necessary, try to find out why the student is misbehaving - not doing home work, not attentive in in the class or some problems at home thus loosing concentration, showing lack of interest in the subject. So talk it out and by persuasion he will come out of it and confide in you.
