Maroof Azam - Corporate Finance, Investments & Risk | Ex-Banker | XLRI PGDM Finance ’26-’28

Most finance professionals know how to read numbers.
Very few know how to use them to make better decisions.

That gap is what I work on.

With 12+ years across banking, real estate
finance, engineering, and financial education, I've seen
finance from multiple angles — credit risk, construction
cost modeling, investment analysis, and business
decision-making. That cross-industry perspective shapes
everything I do.

Today I work with two groups of people:

▸ Business owners and leadership teams who want to move
beyond reading financial statements to actually using them
— understanding how daily operational decisions impact
profitability, cash flow, working capital, and long-term
value creation.

▸ Professionals and students building serious foundations
in corporate finance, valuation, investments, and risk
management — with emphasis on structured thinking and
real-world application, not textbook theory.

Across years of live sessions with professionals
and students from diverse backgrounds, one pattern is consistent:
people don't struggle with finance because it's complicated.
They struggle because nobody connected the numbers to the
decisions that matter to them.
That connection is what I build.
