THIS COURSE FOCUS;SCRIPT WRITING BASICS FOR BEGINNERS:i Ssee myself as more of a writer than a teacher but than the Pandemic has made many experienced writers into teachers, Having trained my self as an Intern in Hollywood more than couple of decades back in LA, I subsequently upgraded my skills by learning creative writing from the late legendary Theater director Pearl Padamsee,then followed a diploma in performing arts(Theater)from Darpana Academy,further did more writing workshops with UK script factory Lucy Scher,at British council & Whistling woods,Mumbai & a film appreciation workshop By Pune Film Institute,and writing workshop with Media matrix with legendary Bollywood writers and topped it up with a scholarship to UK to Learn Documentary film making & writing ,With so much experience & training i went on to become the Sr Content Commissioning editor at a GEC TV channel my main task was to actually fine tune hundreds of episodes of written scripts by conducting writers room meetings with writers-directors and fine tuning their work before allowing it to be produced,i did this for 5 years! It was was like teaching & learning both at the same time !Subsequently i attended writers room workshops conducted by by Reputed industry bodies with well known Web series writers who have written hit web - series with the biggest OTT/streaming platforms,I also started giving guest lectures at corporate events for limited groups and also teaching script writing to children as well, at the requests of friends from NGO's who felt that it should be taught even to the under privileged children,
