I think, "if you want to know that you understand the topic then explain it to someone and if you could make your explanation understandable to others, you have its understanding otherwise you have to work on the topic."
That's why I started teaching from B.Sc. I yr. Now, I have completed a 4 year course M.Sc(phy)-M.Tech dual degree from IIT Bombay and got selected for doing Ph.D in Cosmology at Department of Physics, IIT Bombay. I prefer to give a visual explanation of physics and mathematics such that it becomes interactive & easy to understand. The way of learning may be hard but the way of teaching has to be easy. That's my spirit. I always try to make the concepts simpler so that student can grab it easily and that's why I am teaching since last 7 years in a successful way. I also provide some supplementary material for relatively tough topics.
