I am a certified Career and Student Counsellor from UCLA. I am a dentist by education, a medical editor who has worked with leading international publishing houses for over 15 years, and a career counsellor by passion.

My journey into career guidance began very personally—with my 14-year-old son. Watching him grow into a child with diverse interests and abilities made me realize how exciting, yet overwhelming, the world of opportunities can be for today's children. He is academically exceptional, follows an international curriculum, plays tennis, learns Trinity guitar and keyboard, and has deep interests ranging from rocket science to brain science. With so many areas in which he could potentially excel, the question was not whether he had opportunities, but which direction would be best for him.

Like many ambitious young students, he dreams of studying at some of the best colleges in the world. As a parent, I wanted to understand how I could help him make informed choices—about subjects, courses, careers, colleges, and eventually the path he could pursue with confidence and purpose. That curiosity gradually became a passion, and I decided to formally study career guidance and counselling, initially for his sake.

Today, through my training and continued learning, I have gained immense knowledge and perspective that helps me guide not only my son but also other students and parents facing similar questions.

Being part of a large extended family has added enormously to this journey. I have nieces and nephews across India and abroad, pursuing a fascinating range of niche courses, exploring different career paths, striving for excellent placements, and constantly inspiring those around them. Watching this generation navigate a rapidly changing world has given me valuable insight into the opportunities—and uncertainties—they face.

I have consciously tried to stay young in my thoughts and actions, so I can connect better with this generation of remarkable young people, understand their aspirations and concerns, and appreciate the many possibilities they see for themselves.

Today, I bring together my professional experience, formal counselling training, continuous learning, and the perspective of a parent to help students gain clarity on subject selection, psychometric assessments and feedback, career counselling, course selection, college selection, and applications—both within India and abroad.

For me, career counselling is not simply about suggesting a profession. It is about understanding a student's unique strengths, interests, personality, aspirations, and potential—and helping them discover a path where they can truly excel.
