About the Course
Fun Toons 2013 is designed by Toon Club, Pioneers in Animation Education for kids.
TOON CLUB has pioneered teaching animation to school children as a part of Curriculum, After school activity and Elective program. TC has tied up with some of the most prestigious schools in Mumbai like Ecole Mondiale World School (Juhu), Ecole Francaise Internationale de Bombay (EFIB- Warden Road) , Beacon High, Billabong High, Learnium academy among others.
Toon Club recently won a “Special Jury Recognition” Trophy at FICCI BAF 2013, for a short animation film "Children Of The World" executed by Grade V students of Ecole Mondiale World School.
In the past Toon Club has won awards internationally as well as in India.
- ‘Learning is Fun’, a short film by Yash Choksi (13 years) has bagged Special Award by TASI (The Animation Society of India) at ANIFEST 2008 and has also won Special Recognition Award at ANIFEST 2009 - Prague.
-Toon Club won a “Special Jury Recognition” Trophy for films created by kids at the International Animation Day celebration on 21st Oct 2007 organized by ASIFA India.
Toon Club students have directed and animated short films which have received international attention and accolades in various festivals in France, Italy and Finland.
Toon Club is a division of Climb Media India Pvt. Ltd -creators of “Toonpur Ka Superrhero”, The Adventures of Chhota Birbal”, the Sony Max Tiger “Deewana” seen during the Cricket World Cup series, and Ek Anek Aur Ekta, with the indelible “Ek Chidiya, Anek Chidiya” song) is etched in Indian psyche and the most viewed animated short film online.
