I am Dr. Rajesh Kumar Nair, a professional chess coach, FIDE Arbiter, and development instructor with over 12 years of experience in chess coaching. I specialize in training beginners as well as intermediate and advanced players, helping them build a strong and systematic understanding of the game.

I hold a Doctorate (Ph.D.) from JJTU University, and my academic background, combined with my practical experience in competitive chess, allows me to bring both theoretical depth and real-game insight into my teaching. I have also been associated with international chess training frameworks through the International Chess Federation as a development instructor.

As a rated chess player myself, I understand the demands of competitive chess at different levels. This experience helps me guide students not just in learning moves, but in developing the mindset required for tournaments, including focus, patience, and strategic decision-making.

My teaching approach is structured and progressive. I begin with strong fundamentals such as chess basics, tactics, and pattern recognition, and gradually move towards advanced strategies like middle-game planning and endgame techniques. Each concept is explained in a simple and practical way so that students can easily apply it in real games.
