I am a Practicing Doctor. Science/Biology being my area of expertise. I have been so fond of the subject that i began teaching from my school days itself. There have been several local classes where i use to teach post my school hours as also during my vacations. My basic method of teaching is to explain concepts to students, with the belief that if their concepts about basics are clear they will be able to better understand & write answers on their own without having the need to learn by rote. My skill set or my strength therefore lies in setting a strong foundation or base which the students can rely on and be able to have strong concrete and clear concepts. My experience as a teacher with grade 8th students has been good so far. In terms of my learning as a teacher, i feel that each student has his or her own potential he/ she manifests. It is my role in understanding what each one holds as his/her strength and his/her own weakness.. Only if i am able to learn about each students weakness & strength well, i will be able to do justice in teaching them. My accomplishments as a teacher have been meritorious students yet i would make special reference of weak students who managed to clear off their exams with flying colours under my guidance. As far as teaching with technology has been concerned , i see to it i make power point presentations and show animations while teaching science especially Science/Biology for better understanding.
