Devaang Bagga

I am a trained theatre actor and educator with over a decade of experience in performance and theatre-based training. My journey began with the musical play Goridhana, directed by Mr. Lokendra Trivedi, followed by active involvement with Parvatiya Kala Kendra, an NGO founded by the late Shri Mohan Upreti to promote art and culture.

In 2012, I participated in the Sunday Club workshops conducted by Theatre in Education at the National School of Drama, which deepened my foundation in performance and pedagogy. I was later admitted to Ramjas College, University of Delhi, through the ECA quota, and performed with Shunya, the college’s theatre society, for three years. My notable roles include Butter and Mashed Banana (Ajay Krishnan), Class Enemy (Nigel Williams), and An Enemy of the People (Arthur Miller). These experiences strengthened my skills in devising, improvisation, and character development.

I hold a Master’s Degree in Theatre Arts from the Academy of Theatre Arts, University of Mumbai, and am passionate about using drama to foster creativity, confidence, and collaboration. I also hold a Visharad (Master’s) degree in Tabla from Prayag Sangeet Samiti, Allahabad.
