It has virtually taken the monopolized expensive equipment of filmmaking and has put it in the hands of common people. Even a DSLR camera can do today big film camera work.
Professional editing can be done on software that go in a Laptop! Literally the only limit is your Imagination....
Now there are thousands of online options like YouTube, Vimeo, Blip Tv etc. where you can showcase your films. People with no formal film education have won international accolades in Short films, animations etc. Many have become full time Video Bloggers and earn loads of money with thousands of followers.
"Be A Film Maker Workshop" is for all those who aspire to be professional Digital Film Makers, Video Bloggers in the future or who simply want to whet their creative appetite without burning any holes in their pockets. It introduces you to only the most important aspects of Digital Film Making. Aspects those usually go hidden even in the biggest of Film Academies and schools. No scary film making lingoes or complicated technical jargons, only plain simple film making techniques. It's like; you don't need to know the entire dictionary to write your poetry - isn't it? We make it so simple that even your granny would understand what we say!

Who should attendNo Age limit/ No Qualifications / No prerequisite except interest.
DSLR Camera users will benefit the most out of the workshop while Consumer Digital Camera users can attend the workshops as well.
Bringing a camera is not mandatory; it is prudent to have one to relate to the topics in question. Let us know if you don't have a camera and we can arrange it for you.

Key Takeaways18th August: 10 am to 6.30 pm with half an hour of break in between.
At the end of day 1, participants get all the required study material in DVDs.
At the end of the first day, all students will get their study materials in the form of DVDs and the 1 week break between the two workshops that are a part of this course can be used by participants to shoot and edit a movie using the techniques discussed, bringing them back for expert feedback and guidance during the second workshop on 25th of August at 5.30 pm.
25th August: 5.30 pm to 8.30 pm.
At the end of the day, all participants will get a memorabilia and the 3 best adjudged movies would get a special prize. Light refreshments will be served on Day 1
