When I was young my father used to say Practice makes a man Perfect. Yes, being a master degree holder and completing PGDBM (secured 1st class marks in both) today I realise what a valuable statement it is and even today I narrate the same to my son. Today I tell every student of mine that we the teachers are just a hand holding; we will solve your problem where you are stuck but continuous practicing will make you face different and difficult situations and ways to resolve them. As said in the movie Three Idiots "Pursue excellence, and success will follow"; thus one has to excel in whatever one is doing and naturally the success will be achieved.

One has to have passion, patience and willingness to embrace the difficulty and then practice the same on and on and on and finally success will take one to its goal.

At the same time one needs to pay importance to its health. To concentrate, having a fresh mind and energy one has to follow a balanced diet. All is about health and fitness. If one is not healthy or fit he/she will not be able to concentrate on studies.

Vacations are an important part in your student life.
Use them by reading the subjects as if they are your story books. Try to learn the few initial chapters with the help of your parents. This can be seen as 'first mover advantage'. It will help you to achieve great results in your exam cycles or terms.

These are my advices to students who want to be ahead of others.
