I am a highly qualified and passionate Korean language educator, with strong academic credentials and deep - cultural exposure to Korea.

I hold a Master’s degree (M.A. Hons.) in Korean - Studies from Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), New Delhi one of India’s most prestigious universities, along with a Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) in Korean Language from Jawaharlal Nehru University. I am also professionally certified in the Korean language, ensuring a strong command over both academic and practical usage of Korean.

In addition to my academic background - I was selected to attend Korean Culture - Seminar at the Academy of Korean Studies; Seoul-South Korea one of the most Prestigious/renowned public institutions dedicated to Korean studies worldwide. During this immersive program in Seoul, I got the opportunity to travel extensively across the country and gain first-hand exposure to Korean - culture, entertainment world, museums, society and traditions.

This experience included Korean history, Buddhist, culture studies, factory/ industrial visits, folk village tour,national museum tours, entertainment park visits, and a visit to the Korean border at Panmunjom (DMZ). I actively participated in various cultural activities such as traditional Korean pottery and ceramics making, Taekwondo training, wearing traditional Korean attire (Hanbok), and experiencing authentic Korean food, drinks, customs, and social traditions.

I also explored Korean cinema and modern entertainment, giving me a well-rounded understanding of both traditional and contemporary Korea.

As a teacher, I focus on practical communication, grammar, correct pronunciation, cultural context, and exam-oriented preparation, making learning Korean engaging, effective, and meaningful. Whether you are learning Korean for TOPIK exams, higher studies, career opportunities, travel, or pure interest, I tailor my teaching approach to suit each student’s goals and learning style.

I believe language learning is not just about words, but about understanding culture, mindset, and real-life usage—and I bring that philosophy into every class.
