I have been teaching mathematics for thirty-eight years. I hold an MCA degree, an MA in Sanskrit, a B.Ed, and multiple post-graduate diploma courses. My journey as a teacher began when I was studying in the first year of my degree. I started tutoring my classmates in mathematics and realised that I had a knack for explaining mathematical concepts in a way that made sense to others. After completing my degree, I joined the Modern English School in Mumbai as a mathematics teacher. Later, I joined the Omkar International School, where I continued to teach mathematics and coordinate various activities. Additionally, I worked as a guest lecturer at Pragathi College, teaching banking, finance, and IT to B.Com students on a clock-hour basis. During my MCA degree, I taught my first-semester students at a study centre in Dombivili.
Teaching has always been a passion of mine, and I come from a family of teachers, which further inspired me to pursue this career. I teach mathematics to students in grades tenth, eleventh, and twelfth, covering various boards such as CBSE, ICSE, IB, and State. With the advancements in technology, I have now started teaching online. My sessions are 1 hour long, three times a week, and I also offer two-hour extra classes on Sundays.
I conduct online, real-time sessions and provide lesson plans, doubt-clearing sessions, and homework assignments. My online sessions are highly interactive and engaging, and I always ensure that my students can grasp the concepts quickly. In addition to my online classes, I provide previous years' question paper solutions, PDF notes, and tests to help students prepare thoroughly for their exams. I aim to eradicate math phobia and help students easily understand mathematical concepts.
