Job profile as a Teacher: • Making effective lesson plans as per the prescribed syllabus and simplifying the entire lesson by breaking it down into 45 to 50 min sessions. • Merging in audio-visuals into the lesson plan, incorporating activities using VAK (Visual- Auditory – Kinesthetic) technique and encouraging inter – disciplinary learning. • Creating resources required for effective rendering of lesson plans for the appropriate age group of students. • Being a Waldorf inspired school where learning happens through use of music-mime and movement for better understanding of concepts in dedicated Subject Premises, have been trained to conduct block periods for a duration of 1 to 3 weeks using music-movement and art for understanding core subjects. • Conducted training session for Spoken English and simplifying English communication in my second year for the teachers at my school. • Designed the content for the Website of our school with a team of two other in-house teachers. • Undergone week long training session of Humanizing through Waldorf system of learning which focused on prepping up teachers to understand age-specific needs of students and the appropriate approach teachers need to have for the respective age group that he/she are dealing with. • Successfully executed newer techniques of learning as opposed to traditional approach- For instance; peer and team learning through a system known as Co-operative learning method. Job profile as a CCA In-charge: • Conducting year round activities- academic and non academic for the entire school. • Arranging for various social and educational events from external organizations within the school. • Planning and hosting inter-school events within the school premises and training soft skill sets to students for participation in inter-school events. • Conducting the school annual fete’ at a grand scale, right from designing hoardings, invites and planning the entire 7 day event for the whole school in association with the schools’ management and the core committee. • Maintaining a detailed record and all the required documentation work for the various activities conducted during the year. • Have been majorly accredited for my contribution in compilation of school info. from previous years, incorporating the same into organized content which fit the brief for Times School Ranking. Alongside was also responsible for doing all the back-end PR work which helped the school secure two prestigious awards within the same year - India Today Award for Best school in Navi Mumbai with a National Curriculum and Times School Ranking No # 1 in Navi-Mumbai and No # 9 in all of Mumbai in 2017 and the similar efforts were repeated by the same team of teachers including me wherein we bagged Times School Ranking No # 1 in Navi-Mumbai and No # 8 in all of Mumbai in 2018
