Identity
A singer-songwriter / performer, Anisha has been
classically trained (Hindustani and Carnatic) for most of
her life. She completed her Master's in Contemporary
Performance from Berklee College of Music and is
exploring her sound with her versatile music that defies
genres and breaks stereotypes.
She performs an eclectic set of compositions that is a
reflection of an artist known to pride in her cultural
heritage. Her love for variety reflects in her repertoire with
genres like Jazz, Pop, Rock, Indian Classical, Sufi and
everything retro.
Anisha has always strived for her music and her on stage
persona to represent her various influences. In a Saree,
bindi and with her mellifluous voice, Anisha is completely
herself on stage.
