With an MCom and eight years of experience teaching in schools like Universal English Medium School and Saint Mary Senior Secondary, I have recently launched an online platform to teach public speaking and communication skills to students from 1st to 8th grade. My focus is on building their confidence and helping them develop strong communication abilities that will serve them well throughout their academic journey and beyond. I believe that every child has the potential to be a great communicator, and I am here to help them unlock that potential through engaging and practical lessons.

My experience in the classroom has shown me how important it is for young learners to develop these skills early on. Public speaking and effective communication are not just academic skills; they are life skills that instill confidence, encourage self-expression, and boost self-esteem. With each session, I aim to create a safe, encouraging space where students feel comfortable expressing themselves and learning the art of clear, impactful communication.

Classes are conducted online between 3 pm and 8 pm, allowing flexibility for students and parents. Each session is designed to be interactive and practical, focusing on real-life applications of communication skills. Using live sessions, I engage students with activities that challenge them to think on their feet, articulate their thoughts, and communicate with clarity. Role-playing, storytelling, and group discussions are some of the methods I use to make learning both effective and enjoyable.

I also provide worksheets to reinforce each lesson, offering exercises that students can practice on their own time to build confidence in their abilities. These worksheets are tailored to each session's focus, helping students strengthen their skills gradually and in a structured manner. My goal is for every student to leave each session feeling more confident in themselves and their ability to communicate effectively.

As a teacher, I believe in adapting my approach to meet each student's needs. I take time to understand their unique strengths and areas for improvement, providing guidance that helps them grow at their own pace. Starting this platform has been an exciting journey, and I’m dedicated to helping young learners gain the communication skills and confidence they need to succeed in school and beyond.
