When you start learning a language, you learn the alphabets, words and then the grammer behind forming sentences. That knowledge of grammar in music is Classical music. You learn everything which goes behind the formation of music in Classical. In light vocal music, you learn some songs of your choice but it doesnt go deep in the knowledge of music.
