Teaching Experience in detail in Chess Coaching classes
## About Me I have been passionate about chess from a young age and have experience playing competitive chess at the district and state levels. I represented my district in **Under-11 chess**, where I finished **8th in the Ranga Reddy District**, and later competed at the **Telangana State Under-13 level**, finishing **16th in the state**. I started competing at a young age and developed a strong interest in tactical play, strategic thinking, calculation, and understanding positions rather than simply memorizing moves. Although I took a break from competitive chess for several years, I have recently returned to the game with a serious interest in improving my own level while helping others learn and enjoy chess. My areas of interest include **opening principles, tactical patterns, positional understanding, game analysis, calculation, checkmate patterns, and practical decision-making over the board**. I particularly enjoy playing and studying openings such as the **Queen's Gambit and London System**, while also exploring different opening structures and styles of play. I also regularly work on chess puzzles and have accumulated **10,000+ puzzle points on Chess.com**, which reflects my focus on tactical recognition and calculation. ### My Teaching Approach I believe chess should be taught as a game of **thinking and problem-solving**, rather than simply memorizing openings. My classes can include: * ♟️ Chess fundamentals and rules * 🧠 Tactical patterns and calculation * ♜ Opening principles and repertoire building * 👑 Checkmate patterns * 🔍 Game analysis and identifying mistakes * 🎯 Puzzles and practical positions * 📈 Improving decision-making and board vision * 🏆 Tournament preparation and game strategy * 💻 Playing and analysing games on online chess platforms I enjoy teaching both **children and adults**, from complete beginners to players who already know the basics and want to improve their understanding of the game. For children, I focus on making lessons interactive, engaging, and easy to understand while developing their concentration, logical thinking, calculation, and problem-solving abilities. For adults, I focus more on practical improvement—understanding why positions work, reducing blunders, improving calculation, and analysing their own games to identify patterns in their play. My goal as a coach is not simply to teach someone what move to play. **I want students to understand why a move is good, learn how to think independently, and gradually become capable of analysing positions on their own.** I offer **online one-to-one chess lessons** for children and adults.
