Teaching Experience in detail in Class 12 Tuition
With 5+ years of teaching Chemistry to NEET and JEE aspirants, I've built my approach around one core belief: conceptual clarity beats rote memorization every single time. Chemistry has three very different faces — Physical, Organic, and Inorganic — and most students struggle because they try to study all three the same way. I don't teach them that way. For Physical Chemistry, I focus on building numerical intuition first, then speed. Students start by understanding why a formula works before they're ever asked to apply it under time pressure. For Organic Chemistry, I lean heavily on mechanism-based teaching rather than memorizing named reactions in isolation — once a student understands electron movement, reagents stop feeling like a random list to memorize. Inorganic Chemistry, frankly, respects consistency more than brilliance, so I built structured revision cycles (short, spaced, and testable) that keep facts sticky through the year instead of cramming them in the last month. Over these five years, I've taught both school batches and dedicated NEET/JEE coaching cohorts, and I've consistently seen students move from the 40th to 90th+ percentile range in Chemistry within two to three focused testing cycles — not through shortcuts, but through targeted weak-area diagnostics and disciplined problem-solving practice. I track every student's mistake patterns across tests, not just their scores, because the "why" behind a wrong answer tells you far more than the mark itself. I also believe doubt-clearing shouldn't be a once-a-week event — it should be immediate and low-friction, so misconceptions don't compound. My classroom (physical or online) runs on active recall: frequent low-stakes quizzing, peer explanation, and timed problem sets that mirror actual exam pressure rather than relaxed practice conditions. My results aren't accidental — they come from a repeatable system: diagnose, teach the concept tightly, drill with purpose, review relentlessly. That's what I bring to every batch I take on.
