It is with great enthusiasm that I write to submit my name for the position of PGT Sports Coordinator in your esteemed institution. I have earned a Bachelor of Physical Education (from Chaudhary Charan Singh University, Meerut) and a Master of Physical Education Degree from Awadesh Pratap Singh University, Rewa, M.P. With 9 years of experience as a Physical Education Teacher and 5 years of experience as a Hostel Superintendent in a residential school, I possess 14 years of total working experience in education industry. I am confident that I possess the qualifications required to help your school promote its Vision & Mission and realize its expected goals.
As the attached resume will detail, I am currently serving as Hostel Superintendent in VidyaGyan School, Sitapur, where I am the Counsellor & Mentor of Senior boys and administrator in-charge for all programs and initiatives in Boys Hostel. I have coordinated several programs in school like Investiture ceremony of Students Council, Street plays for social awareness, special assemblies etc and have utilized my sports skills &inherent capabilities to improve effectiveness of instructions. Additionally, I organized adventure camp and yoga sessions for the students and teachers to promote the overall health & hygiene of the school.
My greatest strengths include: collaborative and strategic planning to develop the sports skills in the students, empowering the students with strong psychological skills so that they give the best academic results, develop leadership in them by polishing their instructional skills, independent sports program. I foster strong working relationships with local and school communities and facilitate integration of initiatives designed to enhance the school environment.
As a Sports Coordinator, I will take care of the leadership and administration of all school sports including setting the sports calendar, ensuring inter-school sports competitions and working within the approved budget. I will work with a team of people to promote sports as a healthy activity for young children that can assist their physical and emotional well-being, their ability to work collaboratively and their leadership and physical skills. I will ensure that all students gain encouragement and opportunities to participate to the best of their ability in school sports teams, models positive attitudes towards sport and a commitment to promoting all school sports activities.
