Documenting manual testing estimates, test plan, test strategy, test scenarios, system integration test cases, RTM, defect report, executions results, end to end test scenarios and test cases, test data will help to ensure all requirements are covered and standard testing process is followed. It will set guidelines to any testing teamember to pick up at any point in time and execute. It also acts as evidence of testing in case of any UAT or post prod defects. It acts as baseline for any further testing and if maintained well and time to time, it can be as is given to automation team for automation. read less
