There are several types of penetration testing, including black-box, white-box, and gray-box testing: Black-box testing: The tester has no information about the organization or its systems, simulating a real-world attack. White-box testing: The tester has full access to the organization's systems and network, allowing for a more comprehensive assessment. Gray-box testing: The tester is given some information about the organization's systems, which is a balance between black-box and white-box testing. read less
