Black box testing is often used for system and integration testing, and can involve simulating attacks from an external threat. Gray box testing A hybrid approach that falls between white box and black box testing. Gray box testing involves giving testers some knowledge of a system's internal components, but not how they interact. This approach can help remove developers' preconceptions about how an application should work.
