Sumeena S. - Senior Software Engineer specializing in Golang

With five years of experience in backend web development, specializing in Go and PostgreSQL. Designed, developed, and maintained scalable, high-performance backend services, RESTful APIs, and distributed systems — and I'm confident I can bring that same focus to your team. As a Senior Software Engineer at Aziro Technologies, I built and optimized REST APIs and gRPC services for a hybrid cloud platform, managing cluster lifecycle operations and storage resources. I have led a Go version upgrade that improved security and performance, extended our Prometheus/Grafana observability stack with new metrics, and consistently maintain unit-test coverage above 80%. I also mentor junior developers and coworkers on Go best practices and engineering standards.Prior to this, at Alokin Software, I contributed to Nectar — a Global Distribution System built on a Go and Python (Starlette) microservices architecture with PostgreSQL and AWS DynamoDB. I optimized database queries and indexing strategies.
