Saket Kumar

I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Civil Engineering at the Institute of Engineering and Rural Technology, Prayagraj, with a focus on structural engineering and earthquake-resistant design. I have been teaching since 2021, specializing in subjects such as Fluid Mechanics, Concrete Technology, and Design of Concrete Structures.
I hold a Ph.D. in Structural Engineering from National Institute of Technology Patna (2022), where my research focused on Seismic Vulnerability Assessment of Existing Buildings.
I am certified in Earthquake Resistant Design and have extensive experience as a resource person for the Bihar State Disaster Management Authority, conducting training programs on Earthquake Safety for government engineers. My work as a master trainer has helped improve the seismic resilience of buildings in over 21 districts of Bihar. Additionally, I have contributed to the development of Bihar Earthquake Disaster Management Guidelines.
