I have been teaching Accounts, Economics, and Business Studies for the past 26 years. My journey in education began with a passion for numbers and a deep interest in how businesses function. Over time, I have developed a comprehensive approach to teaching commerce subjects that combines both academic theory and practical insight. My students range from Class 11 and 12 to B.Com graduates and CA Foundation aspirants, and I ensure that each learner receives focused and personalized attention.

I hold a Master’s degree in Commerce (M.Com), and my academic foundation has been instrumental in helping me design a curriculum that is not just examination-focused but also conceptually strong. My teaching methodology emphasizes clarity in fundamentals, which I believe is the key to mastering subjects like Accounts and Economics. Whether it's double-entry bookkeeping or economic principles, I make sure the students understand the “why” behind every concept.

Over the years, I have also worked in various capacities as a Senior Accountant. This professional experience adds a unique dimension to my teaching, as I bring real-world examples into the classroom. Concepts like trial balance, balance sheet, cost analysis, and budgeting come alive when students see how they are applied outside textbooks. This blend of theory and practice not only makes the classes engaging but also prepares students for the professional world ahead.

I prefer conducting offline classes as it allows me to have better interaction with students, observe their progress closely, and provide on-the-spot feedback. However, I am always flexible depending on what suits the student best. I believe that the learning environment should adapt to the student’s needs rather than the other way around.

My classes are highly structured and follow a well-planned syllabus to ensure timely completion of topics and thorough revision. I begin each session by revisiting previous concepts before introducing new ones, and I maintain a steady pace to help students absorb the material effectively. I also conduct regular assessments and discussions to track progress.

For teaching, I primarily use the whiteboard, and I supplement my lessons with handwritten notes, question banks, and past-year papers. These resources are designed to help students build confidence and practice regularly. I also encourage students to ask questions and participate actively during sessions, making the classroom a space for two-way learning.

My ultimate goal is to instill confidence in my students so they can not only excel in their board or university exams but also think analytically about financial and business issues. Watching students grow in their understanding and go on to succeed in their careers is what makes this teaching journey truly fulfilling for me.
