IdentityI am a doctorate in bone biology. I cleared CSIR-UGC-NET in 2010. My academic training and seven years of experience in the research field prepare me to be an active professor and instructor. My doctoral dissertation has been conducted in consultation with Dr N. Chattopadhyay. I worked on establishing ALDH2, an enzyme that plays an active role in alcohol detoxification, as a therapeutic target for treatment of osteoporosis.
I have also worked on the screening of synthetic molecules against Leishmaniasis for two years in CSIR-CDRI with Dr (Miss) Suman Gupta. These projects boost my confidence.
During my post-graduation, I was fortunate enough to work as a research trainee in CSIR- Indian Institute of Toxicological Research (IITR) formerly known as ITRC (Indian Toxicological Research centre) with Dr Bhola Nath Paul on Bronchial Asthma. I spent three months in his lab and learned the use of a few molecular and epigenetic tool to look for a difference in healthy and diseased condition. I found that my professional experience as a research scholar provided me with a broad view that is useful in assisting with projects and assignments. These experiences have built my confidence. And I always love teaching since spreading your knowledge boost up your level. So, I look forward to the opportunity where I can both the show and work on research projects together.
