I am both traditional and professional Artist in the sense that I have been learning traditional Indian Painting in wash style as well as Miniature painting since my childhood from her father and guru Prof Sukhvir Sanghal,who apart from being founder director and VC of Kala Bharati , Allahabad and Lucknow since 1938 and was Professor of Fine Arts and Principal of Govt. College of Arts Lucknow(UP , India).
I passed my M.A. with Sanskrit(philosophy) & drawing and painting .I have been awarded Phd in painting. She was awarded Greek Govt. Scholarship for studying painting at the Athens school of Arts for full one year as a special case.
I have been working for more than 30 years with my father in Kala Bharati.The style of teaching adopted is completely different in the sense that we start with the basics of drawing and I have my own style of teaching.
