Dikshya K.

I am Dikshya Kumari, currently working as a Project Associate at CSIR-Central Drug Research Institute (CSIR-CDRI) on the project “Development of High Throughput Enzymatic RdRp Assay for Screening Compounds Targeting Dengue Virus.” I hold an M.Sc. in Microbiology from Jaipur National University, where I gained extensive training in molecular biology, microbiology, and virology.

During my master’s thesis under the guidance of Dr. Chetan D. Meshram at CSIR-CDRI, I worked on the “Development of RT-PCR Assay for the Detection of Parvoviruses in Rodents.” Beyond this, I have conducted research on microbial plastic degradation, composting with municipal solid waste char, and diagnostic laboratory procedures in hematology, biochemistry, microbiology, and serology.

I have one publication, with two more in progress, and a patent in its final stage. My academic journey includes attending several conferences, workshops, and seminars, where I also received awards for idea and poster presentations. I have completed skill-development courses in Spirulina Cultivation, Food and Dairy Microbiology, Antimicrobial Resistance, and Bioreactor Design, which have strengthened my applied knowledge in biotechnology.

I am passionate about advancing research in infectious diseases, molecular virology, and sustainable biotechnological solutions.
