That definitely depends on the context but it sure is a valuable trait. Patience in excess, however, could lead to complacency. Idealization of patience couldsteersituations where individuals tolerate unfavourable circumstances or relationships for too long, or even lose opportunities. Instead, striking a balance between assertiveness and patience, and recognizing when to let either take a lead is a wiser approach, in my opinion. read less
