Areas Where Universities Teach Real-Life Skills: Professional Knowledge and Expertise: Fields like engineering, medicine, law, business, and computer science often provide technical knowledge directly applicable to careers. Programs emphasize problem-solving, critical thinking, and technical skills that are valued in the workplace. Soft Skills: Teamwork: Group projects and collaborations teach working in teams, resolving conflicts, and managing diverse perspectives. Communication: Writing essays, reports, and delivering presentations develop effective communication skills. Time Management: Balancing coursework, deadlines, and extracurriculars helps improve time management. Internships and Practical Exposure: Many universities have co-op programs, internships, and industry partnerships that give students hands-on experience. Financial Literacy (Optional): Some universities offer elective courses on personal finance, entrepreneurship, or economics that help with budgeting and money management. Critical Thinking and Adaptability: Analytical assignments and exposure to diverse ideas encourage adaptability and critical evaluation of real-world problems. Areas Where Universities Fall Short: Financial Management: Personal finance (taxes, loans, budgeting) is rarely a mandatory part of the curriculum. Practical Life Skills: Skills like cooking, understanding insurance, or navigating legal and healthcare systems are often left out. Emotional Intelligence (EQ): While some programs touch on psychology or human behavior, emotional intelligence and interpersonal skills are not always emphasized. Real-World Application of Theory: There can be a disconnect between academic theory and real-world scenarios, especially in rapidly changing industries. Job Readiness: Career preparation like resume writing, networking, and interviewing is often insufficiently addressed. How Students Can Bridge the Gap: Engage in Extracurriculars: Clubs, competitions, and leadership roles help develop non-academic skills. Pursue Internships: Internships offer hands-on experience and networking opportunities. Take Electives: Opt for courses in communication, finance, or entrepreneurship. Self-Learning: Online platforms like Coursera, LinkedIn Learning, or YouTube can supplement university education. Seek Mentorship: Professors, career advisors, or industry professionals can provide practical guidance. Universities can be a foundation for learning, but gaining real-life skills often requires proactive efforts by the students themselves. read less

For doing B.ed, you have to complete graduation like BCom or BSc or BA etc. After that, if you are capable, then you can do B.ed and MCom, but my suggestion and advice would be to do one course at a time.
