Identity
I am a Social Science educator with 4 years of teaching experience, focused on students of Classes 9 and 10. My aim is to make Social Science a subject that students enjoy and relate to. I believe that when students understand the world around them—history, civics, geography—they become more aware and responsible individuals.
I hold a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) and a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.). My educational background has given me the skills to break down complex topics and make them accessible for school students. I use real-world examples, interactive discussions, and digital tools to help students grasp and retain information effectively.
My classes are designed to follow a structured lesson plan that aligns with the school syllabus. I ensure each topic is thoroughly explained before moving on to assessments or revisions. The sessions are interactive, encouraging students to think critically and voice their perspectives.
I conduct my classes online, which enables me to connect with students from different parts of the country. Using PPTs and videos, I make sessions visually engaging. This helps in better retention of facts and concepts, especially in subjects like history and geography.
Apart from regular lectures, I provide comprehensive notes to my students for revision purposes. I believe in continuous assessment through quizzes and short answer discussions, which help gauge student understanding and keep them actively involved in the learning process.
My goal is to not only help students score well in exams but also develop an interest in the social sciences. With the right approach, I believe even students who initially find the subject dull can grow to appreciate its relevance and importance.
