Sutapa R.

I am a trained sitar player with an M.A. in Instrumental Music (Sitar) from Rabindra Bharati University and a B.Ed. from Calcutta University. I have been working at Agrasain Balika Siksha Sadan, Liluah, Howrah, gaining valuable experience in an educational environment. I am passionate about teaching music through this classical instrument (sitar) and helping students develop a strong foundation in it. My teaching approach focuses on proper technique, rhythm, musical understanding, regular practice, and individual attention according to each student's learning pace. I encourage students to build confidence, discipline, creativity, and a genuine appreciation for music. I welcome beginners and learners who wish to improve their sitar-playing skills. My goal is to make music education enjoyable, structured, and rewarding for every student.
