I am Suchetana Basu, an educator with 4 years of teaching experience, working with young learners from Class I to V as well as adults seeking spoken English training. Teaching has been a meaningful journey for me, allowing me to guide students in building strong academic foundations while also helping adults improve their communication skills and confidence in English.

I hold a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree, which has strengthened my understanding of language, humanities, and communication-based subjects. My academic background supports my teaching across multiple subjects, enabling me to explain concepts in a simple, clear, and structured manner that is easy for students to understand and retain.

I teach all subjects for Class I to V students, including English, Hindi, Bengali, Social Studies, History, and Geography. My focus at the primary level is to ensure strong conceptual clarity, reading and writing skills, and overall academic development. I believe that early education plays a crucial role in shaping a student’s confidence and long-term learning ability.

Along with school-level teaching, I also provide spoken English training for adults. In these sessions, I focus on improving fluency, pronunciation, grammar usage, and everyday communication skills. My aim is to help learners become more confident in expressing themselves in personal, academic, and professional environments.

Over the years, I have worked with students of different learning abilities and backgrounds. This experience has helped me understand that every learner requires a different approach, and I always try to adapt my teaching style accordingly. I focus on patience, clarity, and consistent practice to ensure steady progress for each student.

My teaching methodology is based on structured lesson planning combined with interactive sessions. I emphasize concept clarity first, followed by regular practice and revision. I also encourage active participation through questions, discussions, and simple activities that make learning more engaging and effective.

I conduct both online and offline classes and use PowerPoint presentations along with whiteboard teaching to make lessons more visual and easy to understand. My goal is to create a positive and supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable, motivated, and confident in their learning journey. Through consistent guidance and personalized attention, I strive to help every learner achieve steady academic and personal growth.
