IdentityI am a Data Scientist currently employed in one of the top Strategy firms in the world. I possess close to four years of corporate experience. I have done my specialisation(Bachelor's and Master's) in Statistics from Presidency University, Kolkata, with particular emphasis on Forecasting, Sample Surveys, Business Analytics(Descriptive, Predictive, and Predictive), Machine Learning, Deep Learning, and High-Dimensional Data Inference.
I have had the privilege of collaborating with experts from diverse fields such as Economics, Finance, Psychology, and Medicine. Together, we have conducted extensive analyses and generated groundbreaking insights that have paved the way for innovative research methods. A recent highlight of my work was a collaboration with a team of doctors from Medical College, Kolkata, where we conducted a research study on the effectiveness of HCQ as a treatment for COVID-19. This project has garnered significant attention in the medical community.
My proficiency extends to a wide range of data tools, including R, Python, SQL, SAS, Tableau, and Power BI. I have successfully applied these tools in various projects, spanning Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Natural Language Processing, and actionable insights generation with both structured and unstructured data. My adaptability and versatility have been tested across diverse use cases, from IT User Experience improvement to Fraud & Income Prediction, Customer Segmentation & Recommendation, Market Strategy, Sales Prediction, and Growth.
I have guided about 100+ students at various levels through teaching, mentoring, and doubt-clearing sessions in Data Science, Statistics, and mathematics and helped them secure great jobs in Analytics and AI.
