Souvik Biswas

I am a musician, composer, and music arranger based in kolkata. I am giving online/offline home tuitions on guitar, ukelele, mandolin, dotara, etc for the last 6 years.
I started my musical journey at the age of 5 yrs and got training in indian classical vocal, rabindrasangeet (songs of tagore). Nazrulgeeti and modern bengali songs. I learned harmonium and tabla back then. Later I picked up guitar as my instrument. I am giving tuition for the last 6 years now. The things you can learn from me are understanding music theory, music appreciation & application. I insist all my students on application-based learning. Learn to pick up string instruments in no time, and use your music theory understanding to play and improvise. I have a solo album of modern bengali songs, worked in various plays as a music director, musician, and composer, and worked on film music. I also am associated with 2 bangla bands and a few of our original works are to be released by the end of this year. I have been performing for the last 12 years now.
