IdentitySourav Dutta is a Kolkata-based contemporary violinist and performer with 8 years of experience in the Indian Classical format. His artistry is defined by a unique blend of traditional Raga-based music and modern expressions, honed under the rigorous guidance of Pandit Abhisek Lahiri and Oindra Kumar Dutta (disciple of Sri Biswajit Roychowdhury).
A versatile musician, Sourav also trained in Rabindra Sangeet under Bishnupriya Ganguly. He is currently a key member of the musical ensemble at Abovahika—Centre for Cultivation of Classical Dance. His performance credits include prestigious Kolkata venues like Rabindra Tirtha and Nazrul Tirtha.
