I teach Bengali language lessons to students from Class 1 to Class 12, catering to all educational boards. With 5 years of teaching experience in an ICSE school, I have developed a strong foundation in language instruction. After a brief break due to pregnancy, I resumed my passion for teaching by offering home tuition, providing a more personalized learning experience to my students.

I hold an MA in Bengali Literature and Language from the University of Delhi and a Ph.D. in Information Science with a focus on language studies. These qualifications have equipped me with in-depth knowledge of the Bengali language, its literature, and the scientific study of language, allowing me to deliver comprehensive lessons.

One of my proudest teaching experiences was helping a Class 7 student who initially failed her Bengali exams. Through focused lessons addressing her weaknesses, she improved significantly and passed her final exam with a score of 51 out of 100. Her progress in writing and grammar, from frequent mistakes to writing paragraphs with minimal errors, was a rewarding testament to the effectiveness of my teaching.

Beyond teaching, I have achieved success as a scriptwriter, creating content for platforms such as Amazon Prime UK, Hungama, and MX Player. My expertise in Bengali language and literature has enabled me to craft engaging scripts for films and short films, highlighting my deep understanding of storytelling and cultural nuances in Bengali.

I conduct online classes using an interactive methodology. My lessons begin with dictation exercises followed by self-checks and corrections, helping students develop their writing and comprehension skills. I follow the student’s syllabus closely, ensuring that all required topics are thoroughly covered while encouraging independence and active participation.

To keep students engaged, I avoid relying on PPTs and instead use interactive discussions, whiteboard explanations, and tailored examples. I provide a range of course materials, including question papers, notes, assignments, and regular tests to track progress and reinforce learning. This approach helps students improve steadily while making the learning process enjoyable and effective.
