I could infer that he is an intelligent child. Positively channelling his energy is necessary; instead of making him sit with a notebook and pencil, teach him using games like a hop, skip and jump activity or similar other techniques.
For the past 14years, I'm teaching children. He MAY have ADHD. Let him do lots of physical activities.
