I am a metallurgical engineer. 1978 madhyamik (72.9 %) and 1980 hs (66.5 %) from hindu school, kolkata
1984 graduate from jadavpur university through wbjee in 1980
1986 postgraduate from iit kanpur through gate in 1984.
Got phd admission offer from michigan and north carolina state universities in 1986 but did not pursue higher studies.
Worked in an engineering consultancy organisation, mecon limited (psu) for 36 years and 4 months.
Superannuated 31.12.2022.
Engaged with mn dastur since 01.11.23 till date.

Aside from that, I can guide children in developing communication skills ( I authored many technical papers and presented at national and international forums, gave presentations to high officials including ministers, steel secretaries etc). Even though I have never formally acted as a teacher, I mentor engineers nowadays. Moreover, students on industrial training /summer training are also being trained in my current role as a mentor. Because of my enriching and range experience, I teach differently addressing fundamental issues with an integrative approach.
