Pabitra Pal Choudhury

I am Dr. Pabitra Pal Choudhury, and I have over 40 years of experience in teaching Mathematics, Physics, and Physical Science to students from Class 7 to 9. I hold a PhD in Computer Science and a BSc in Physics, with a rich academic background that has allowed me to explore a diverse range of subjects. Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of teaching at prestigious institutions, including the University of Kolkata and the Indian Statistical Institute, where I retired as a professor.

My passion for teaching and sharing knowledge has always been the driving force behind my career. I have spent many years shaping young minds and guiding them through the complexities of subjects like Physics and Maths. Teaching has been a deeply fulfilling journey, and I am always excited to see my students achieve a deeper understanding of these subjects, which are often considered difficult.

In my approach to teaching, I focus on making concepts simpler and easier to understand. I believe in fostering an interactive environment where students are encouraged to ask questions and actively engage with the material. By breaking down complex topics into smaller, more manageable parts, I ensure that each student can grasp the concepts at their own pace. Whether teaching in a classroom or through online sessions, I prioritize clear communication and provide ample opportunities for students to apply their learning.

I am now looking to extend my teaching services through both online and offline classes, offering a flexible approach that suits the diverse needs of my students. Each session lasts for an hour and a half, which gives me enough time to cover the topic in-depth and provide individual attention to every student. The sessions are designed to be interactive, with a focus on discussion and problem-solving. I encourage active participation so that students feel confident in applying their knowledge.

To complement the live sessions, I provide detailed notes that summarize the key concepts and offer additional resources to help students practice on their own. These notes are carefully crafted to reinforce the lessons and help students revise effectively. I am committed to helping my students excel in their exams, and I believe that the right balance of theory and practice is essential for their academic growth.

As a retired professor, I am now focusing on helping students outside of the traditional classroom setting. I am excited to continue my journey of teaching and mentoring students, using my vast experience to make a difference in their learning. Whether online or offline, I am dedicated to providing personalized guidance and support to ensure that my students not only succeed academically but also develop a genuine interest in the subjects I teach.
