I'm a Senior Data Engineer with 14+ years of experience in the IT industry, specializing in ETL development, data warehousing, and Big Data technologies. I hold a B.Tech in Information Technology from Biju Patnaik University of Technology, Odisha, and I'm an IBM Certified Solution Developer.
Throughout my career, I've worked with major global organizations including IBM India, where I served as Lead Data Engineer / Senior Data Engineer on large-scale banking projects. My work has included building Enterprise Data Lakes and Financial Risk & Reporting systems for a major North American bank, ETL pipelines for regulatory reporting (APRA) for a major Australian bank, and compliance-driven data processing (FATCA) for a major UK bank.
My core technical expertise includes IBM InfoSphere DataStage, Hadoop, Hive, SQL, Python, and Unix/Linux scripting, along with workflow orchestration tools like Control-M and Tidal. I've also spent years mentoring junior engineers, leading code reviews, and conducting technical design sessions — so I bring both deep hands-on knowledge and a genuine ability to teach and explain concepts clearly, not just execute them.
