I am a Chess Coach who has also trained my two daughters,both of whom are established International Chess players and have won Nationals in the past & represented India in the World Championships.My younger daughter,Nisha Mohota, is Bengal's First Woman Grand Master & has won 7 National Individual & 2 Team Championships.She has also won the Commonwealth Woman Gold & has represented India in Chess Olympiads,Asian Games & has visited 30 countries.My elder daughter,Swati Mohota, has won the State Women Championship for a record number of 10 times and also has 1 National Individual & 1 National Team Title to her credit. She has also won an All India Open Women Rating Tournament. She has taught Chess in Ashok Hall Girls' H.S.School for more than 12 years and is currently training students of Indus Valley World School along with giving online classes to students from US,UK & other Asian countries.After successfully coaching my daughters for 30 years and bringing them to this International level, I have now become a full time Chess Coach giving private lessons to young kids of Kolkata. I was with Mahadevi Birls Shishu Vihar as a Chess Teacher for 11 years until 2017.
