My Teaching Experience (Relevant to Class I–V Tuitions) I have over 30 years of experience as a primary school teacher in a reputed English-medium school in Kolkata, where I specialized in teaching students from Class I to Class V. Throughout my career, I have focused on building a strong academic foundation in core subjects such as English, Mathematics, Environmental Studies (EVS), and Moral Science. My teaching methods are rooted in patience, clarity, and consistency—tailored to suit the learning pace and individual needs of each child. I have worked extensively with young learners at various stages of early education, helping them improve their reading, writing, comprehension, grammar, spelling, arithmetic skills, and overall understanding of their school curriculum. I place strong emphasis on concept clarity and regular practice, as I believe these are the building blocks of long-term academic success. In my classroom, I consistently created a positive, encouraging environment where children felt safe to express doubts and ask questions. I used simple explanations, real-life examples, and interactive methods such as storytelling and visuals to make lessons engaging and easier to understand. Over the years, I have also supported many students who faced challenges in specific subjects, helping them overcome their difficulties through one-on-one attention, regular revision, and personalized support. My approach has always included a balance of academic discipline and emotional encouragement, which has helped my students gain both confidence and independence in their studies. Now, after retirement, I am offering personalized home tuitions for students of Class I to V from my residence in Tollygunge. I aim to provide a strong academic base, daily support with schoolwork and homework, and help children become more focused, responsible, and self-motivated learners.
