Lycee School

We at Lycée believe that an essential need of our society is for a community of people with deep faith, sound knowledge, intellectual and emotional maturity and more integrity to build a truly humane society.

We accept students from every caste, creed and community and strive to educate them in the high ideals of humanism. The purpose of this school is not only to impart instruction but also to educate and help the students to become mature human beings, to encourage them continually to strive after excellence in every field, without however neglecting the development of moral character, self-esteem and a sense of responsibility.
The school was started in 1982 with 35 students, main idea being propagation of education in English medium among middle class children. Very soon LYCÉE became one of the most sought after school amongst the guardians of school going children and with its affiliation to the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examination in 1993, there was no looking back.

Today LYCÉE is a happy family of approximately 1000 students, 50 dedicated & competent teachers and 30 hardworking non – teaching staff headed by the Principal Sharmila Mitra.
