Kaavya L.

I worked as an English tutor while I was staying in Gurgaon during my senior schooling. I was an English tutor for elementary school children and helped 80% of students raise their English course grades by at least one full letter mark within one semester. I also maintained a 90%+ client retention rate over a year through personalized lesson planning and consistent parent communication. I also worked at the front desk and was a patient care coordinator at a therapy clinic. Part of my job was to welcome incoming patients and manage a high volume of phone calls with patience and clarity, guide new patients through their initial intake and schedule their initial consultations and follow-up care, and walk prospective clients through treatment options and explain discounted package deals to help them find the best fit for their needs. While pursuing my bachelor's in sociology, I led a 12-member squad to the state semifinals and mentored 4 junior members in research and public speaking. I have conducted market analysis for a local small business, delivering a strategy pitch that increased their social media reach by 25%. Overall, this increased my confidence in many different aspects, and I learned a variety of skills like patient interaction, communication skills, English speaking, administrative experience, phone etiquette, etc.
