 Applicant was Assistant Professor, Dept. of Computer Science and Engineering,
National Institute of Technology, Arunachal Pradesh, India.
 Applicant is awarded his PhD (Engg.) degree from University of Kalyani on 16th
July’ 2014, under supervision of Dr. Mallika De & Dr. Debashis De on Quantum
Circuits.
 Applicant received his B.SC (Hons) in Electronics Science, B.Tech and his M.Tech
Degree in Information Technology from Calcutta University, Kolkata, India in
2001, 2004 and 2006 respectively.
 Applicant has published several Papers in international conferences and journals and
chapter in Book/Monograph.

As a teacher, my main goal is to ensure that students firmly understand the material and to create enthusiasm for the topics. I believe in using all available instructional technology to lift students’ faces out of their own notebooks and engage them in the self learning. Regular in-class quizzes also help keep students informed of their progress. I feel strongly that students should be equipped with necessary skills and knowledge to contribute meaningfully to the society. I strongly believe that the learning experience of a student is extremely important when it comes down to the application of the knowledge. I use an interactive teaching style called "Flip Learning", that encourages students to participate in brief discussions and self learning as well. I believe in the statement of Confucius which is “What I hear, I forget. What I see, I remember What I do, I understand”. "Flip Learning" approach helps students focus on the lecture material, and provides for immediate
reinforcement during learning. Interactive process should be fruitful. I encourage interaction between the students to form learning group. At the same time, I encourage students to interact with the Instructor. I am a strong believer of project based learning. The flow of knowledge should not be restricted only from the Instructor to the Students. Students should be exposed to the other sources of information. Project based learning prepares the students in that direction. Hence, the students are exposed to real life situation where you have to rely on the information other than the class room lectures. Usually, I assign group projects. These projects give students opportunity to practice working as a team member.
I usually assign ten to fifteen percent of the grade towards homework. That is the
way they have a chance to interact with each other and go through the self-learning process. Also, I do not over emphasize the homework because that lures the dishonest student to copy the material without grasping the material.
